Shipping Policy

We ship from Monday to Thursday every week. If there are any issues with weather (too hot/cold) postal strikes or public holidays, then this is subject to change.

We strive to get any order that is placed before 12pm in the post the same day, however we cannot make promises which is why we decided to remove the option for Next Day Delivery. If you order on a Thursday there is no guarantee that you will receive your product on a Friday. It is most likely going to be shipped on a Monday for delivery Tuesday / Wednesday.

We have elected not to ship on a Friday as some areas of the UK seem to have a relaxed Saturday post and livefood tends not to do well over the weekend in a post office.

All of our shipments below 160 / 250 worms are sent in plastic tubs, and should last well in them. These plastic tubs are sent in Plastic Mailing bags, which are durable, and well sealed. They offer no "jiffy bag" style protection. If you require more protection, please make a note on your order.

We offer two delivery types. Royal Mail First Class and Royal Mail Recorded First Class. This allows our customers to choose how they wish to receive our products.

Royal Mail First Class

Default delivery from us is Royal Mail First class.

This delivery method offers a cheap, generally reliable turnaround in around 1 day. If you are likely to be out and you normally have an arrangement with your postman to leave parcels somewhere, then this is the delivery type for you.

Royal Mail Recorded First Class

Offers customers a little more piece of mind. Sent with a tracking number (which you receive on confirmation of shipping) and requires a signature on arrival.

Please dont choose this method if you are not in, as the parcel will end up back at the post office, and we will not be held responsible for missed deliveries.
